History & Mythology
Known for its soft, silky blues and ocean hues, Aquamarine has a rich history as a stone of protection and has been seen as the stone of the sea for centuries by fishermen and sailors alike.
Said to have fallen from the treasure chest of mermaids, this stone is held as a symbol of luck, protection and calm, keeping travellers safe from storms.

According to Archeologists, Aquamarine jewellery and embellishments have been used amongst civilisations since before 500 B.C.
Because of its long-lived standing, sailors have not been the only ones through history to consider this stone a symbol of good luck and protection. In the Middle Ages, Aquamarine was also used to keep the elites and rulers safe from poisoning.
To this day, it is said that wearing or keeping this stone close can help protect, calm and heal the wearer.

Aquamarine has been considered a popular stone with Healers, Mystics and Shamans throughout the ages.
Believed to have magical properties and uses, those within this realm have used the stone to expand their spirituality, including enhancing their intelligence and clairvoyant abilities.
